Death Note

Yutaka Matsushige plays Light's father, a straight-laced and stern detective. He heads the police task force that is investigating the deaths of the criminals. He shares a distant relationship with his son Light as he had chosen to stay at work instead of being by his wife's side when she passed away years before.
